Samebike LO26 both 350W and 500W models use the same Brushless motor controller model: X863-AA005 48V*12A = 576W QR code reads Code: EB06A/X863-AA005/36--48V27V/12A//181015034 So unlocking 35km/h and 500W are just going to stock settings. Controller connections
If I adopt the same settings as you do on my bike, do I make the 500 watt version from the 350 watt version? I understand that right that the setting on 16 A brings nothing? Thank you very much
Mine said 350W on the gearbest page. But LCD was set 12A by default, so 500W. And controller was 12A. Setting higher than 12A did not do anything.
Finally some insight into the Samebike controllers, great! I do not want to highjack this thread, but my issue is THE OPPOSITE! My ebike turned faster than I want to ride!! When my Samebike JG20 arrived it ran 20km/h (spec: 25km/h), also it appeared a little weak, but I am a novice with no real experience about these ebikes. After three battery recharges the ebike changed its mind ON ITS OWN: way more zip, Vmax =25km(h (EU standard), but seriously less range. I did NOT fiddle with controls or sensors; the bike changed the settings after 150km all by itself!! I thought the bike had finished a 'break in' cycle to adjust batteries, motor etc, but was laughed at in other (German) forums. Eventually I was told by a knowledgable guy that my controller X863-AA004 was most likely delivered in the 48V state, for my 36V bike, and somehow reset itself to the proper parameters after a while. Fine... All would be great, but I do NOT want this 25km/h mode, for two reasons: 1) the foldable 20" bike needs a cadence of >90rpm to ride at 25km/h, uncomfortably fast 2) the battery range of the anemic 288Wh battery now lasts only 43km instead of 54km at the reduced power mode My current fix is ingenious (at least for a novice with zero knowledge of ebikes): I disengaged the PAS entirely, in fact I added a PAS switch to the handlebar to turn it on and off at will. I did this because I realized that the PAS will override the gasgrip control and the bike has only ONE power setting: if using the gasgrip and setting it to 20km/h any pedaling would immediately accelerate to 25km/h again. But I want to pedal along at 20km/h WITH assistance!! Deactivating the PAS on this stupid controller did the trick: now I can set my power grip to any speed and can pedal along with assistance at that speed. But must hold the grip all the time. All would be easier if the bike had a real LCD display, +/- power buttons for various outputs, yet it does not. Still I want to learn as much as possible about these wicked 'X863-AA...' controllers as possible. How to set the voltage mode back/forth to 36V/48V (i.e. less current, speed, bigger range), maybe testing the 32km/h (20mph) mode for the mere fun of it etc. As I haven't found out how to embed images from file (not URLs) here a link to some photos of the controller, its circuit board, the odd SAXIN handlebar controller: https://app.box.com/s/txnf62ejyqngbrqvkypprlhg7jjpte2g Thanks for any useful hint and help, I really appreciate it!
Thx dir sharing --- Double Post Merged, Jul 10, 2019 --- Hello thx for the great infos. I have bought the Samebike lo26 from a reseller...He played with the settings...and i think he messed up something... 1. How can i get the default settings? 2.what are your settings so i can get your unlocked speeds? 3. I have tried all you said but my speed ist limited to 24.7 km/h..i cant get faster. 4. Is it possible to install a backlight with breaklight function? Pleased help me. Thx
It's says 48V 8Ah battery on the Samebike JG - 20 product page. And 48V controler would not run on the 36V battery as cut off voltage would be already too low. You can upgrade to S830 LCD yourself. It's only one wire to connect. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33006607484.html --- Double Post Merged, Jul 12, 2019 --- Samebike LO26 S830 default settings: 1 0 48 10 05 26.0 1 100 - might be different before unlocking 0 2 2 3 5 12 41.5 0 - just odo reading on your bike
Thx Justin So what are the best settings for Performance? Unfortunitly i cant get over 24,7 km/h It seems like its somehow locked... I tryed your advise still no luck...
Hello all...after fully charging the battery it seems like i can get now over 24,7 km/h...Not very much faster...so like 27-28 km/h...far away from 35 km/h...so maybe its the juice from the battery that drops the speed? Hopefully after some more chargings i can get the fully experience of the bike... Some other questions...is it possible to install another display? Like the bafang dpc18 display ..or must i change the controller too? Thx
With the Fiido D2 is there any indication on the display to show that this has worked? Also do you repeat the process to change it back to restricted? Thanks all!
Hi all...I've just ordered Fiido D2 and "of course" I'd like to "unlock" the bike when it's arrived. Does anyone know if I can install some LCD display on it (someone mention one here for Samebike) and if the battery can be changed to a stronger one (I know it's integrated in the frame). Thanks...
@Justin , i have Samebike 350w (20'' wheel). If i set #14 higher than 12A; px 15A; can i burn the controller?
Good question. I did three steps and I do not know. Maybe GPS on a smartphone with a speed indicator will be a solution to check the speed.
