This guide is about running Linux from Live USB drive. DO NOT install Linux to internal storage, because it will screw up your tablet. Linux is not meant to be used on tablets, so many features won't work and this is just demo to prove concept that linux could run on a tablet.. But that does not mean it's anywhere good to run or use as a main OS on a tablet.
Now I can run Linux 15.04 / 14.04 dual boot system on tablet but only hdmi output is working. Can you tell something about graphic driver ? How can I enable tablet screen ? It is shown in ubuntu 15.04 "Displays" but it is no picture ....

Hi, I have Teclast Teclast X80HD with these specs: CPU: Intel Bay Trail, 1830 MHz, Cores: 4 GPU: Intel HD Graphics, 646 MHz RAM: 2 GB, 1333 MHz Storage: 32 GB Display: 8 in, IPS, 1280 x 800 pixels, 24 bit I followed the guide from this thread and tried installing Ubuntu Mint (64bit with added bootia32.efi) onto it. As it has USB OTG I was able to do it without additional USB power supply. At the beginning I select Live Ubuntu option after that it show 2 text lines and after some 1-2 minutes of activity on USB everything stops. Display remains blank. Only after some time I discovered, that Picture is visible on HDMI output. However this HDMI is treated as extended desktop, while primary desktop remains blank. So I cannot do much with it. I tried also setting in boot menu: video=VGA-1:1280x800e reboot=pci, force without success, only that extended desktop is no longer active on HDMI. I'd appreciate some help G --- Double Post Merged, Nov 24, 2015, Original Post Date: Nov 24, 2015 --- After booting live Ubuntu with external monitor I can run xrandr command which outputs: DSI1 connected primary 800x1280+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 0mm x 0mm 800x1280 60.00*+ Can someone pls advise, how to edit boot option to display also internal LCD? For the info Linux Mint Debian Edition does display image on the internal LCD, however because of ancient kernel doesn't support touchscreen, wifi and probably much else...
