Boot tab > boot order and make MacOS USB setup drive to boot first. F10 to save changes. 2. Finish a standart MacOS setup. 4. Post Install To fix sound and other driver issues. And add Clover with OSX/Windows dualboot. 1. Mount SSD EFI partion using Clover configurator and replace contents with EFI for Xiaomi 13 Post Install SSD Xiaomi Mi Notebook AIr 13 VS 2014 Macbook Pro 13 FCPX and performance test This is basically the best I could get from Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13 with High Sierra. Nvidia GPU does not work Integrated Intel GPU limites all FCPX performance. Not much gain from the 8th gen CPU compared to even an old 4th gen dual core macbook Pro. Many more problems after the Mojave update. Project closed. Xiaomi Air 13 sold.
Hi Justin, I just followed your steps with a 2018 Xiaomi Mi Air 13" / i5 - 8250U, but I'm stuck at USB boot with a launchd error about com.apple.WindowServer dying immediately: Service ran only for 0 seconds. Pushing respawn out by 10 seconds. After some googling I believe that a probably cause is that the discrete nVidia MX150 is not disabled by an ACPI patch. Do you know the original source of the premade EFI files? Maybe I have a different BIOS version or I just have to reapply the ACPI patches. It's better to post a full boot screenshot. It may be more than the last error. Though I did little changes to the usb Install EFI. It's the same EFI it's already in the pramede setup torrent. I just added nv_disable=1 and inject graphics ID 0x123456789. Plus copied all kexts for the Xiaomi. That's it. Post install has a lot of stuff changed but no the USB install one.
To install from USB Drive i have to use this Boot Args: nv_disable=1 mbasd=1 Otherwise it failed to install
