Hi al, On another forum https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/70mai-firmware-update-changing-from-chinese-to-english.33253/ I found a link to read all possible parameters from the camera. In short: connect to the WiFI of the camera, and go to this link using the browser: http://192.72.1.1/cgi-bin/Config.cgi?action=get&property=* This will output all properties the camera knows. In the same thread the Chinese voice can be silenced by using this link: http://192.72.1.1/cgi-bin/Config.cgi?action=set&property=Camera.Menu.ApkGetVol&value=VOL0 I tried that and it works. After that I installed the English version found here. I downloaded and installed this English version, and yes, it has a female English voice. However, I found -as mentioned- that now the recordings have no sound, so I wanted to change back. So, I used the 1.0.3 Chinese version and installed that again, now the camera has the Chinese voice again. But.... My recordings still have no sound?? Are there any members who have this camera with still the original Chinese 1.0.3 FW and do have sound? If so, what are the settings to get recording with sound? Can somebody read all parameters and post them so I can compare? In fact, I don't know if my recordings ever had sound....? Thanks and un saludo, Leo
