Hola, en breve voy a recibir fiido d2. Desbloquear la velocidad de 25kmh a 30kmh hará que sea muy notable la disminución de batería?

Thanks for the reply! Samebike's naming convention is a total mess. Even their own pages show THREE different names for this model:
YSDX20, XW-20ZC, JG20. Mine was called 'JG20' when ordering it from Gearbest in Feb 2019.

It DOES have a 36V 288Wh battery (measured, see my chart in the share folder), the forementioned controller.X863-AA004, and a 250W rear hub motor (label).

Since there is no documention on its controller wiring (e.g. a pair black/orange, full voltage, is unconnected) I modded it my way:
    - added a $8 "GT Power" watt meter to the handlebar, showing real time A, V, W, Wh, Ah and several peak values
    - added a switch to control, the PAS directly from this added meter; it allows for better speed control and way better range of the battery
In my share https://app.box.com/s/txnf62ejyqngbrqvkypprlhg7jjpte2g I added more photos of all modifications, the battery capacity etc.

The bike ran 54km with the orginal 'defective' 48V mode (max speed 20km/h), only 43km after fixing itself and speeding to 25km/h. Now I reach 60km with one charge by using no PAS and a variable gas grip speed at any time.
Job solved, albeit not the way I wanted to.

None of the 'tuning' methods (brake, gas grip, 5sec) work on this controller -AA004; it will NOT reset to the 48V mode it was apparently delivered in. Meaning the bike will not want to be limited to 20km/h, as it was originally (which I preferred).

What surprises me: the rather precise watt meter shows way more current/wattage when the bike motor is under load:
I expected 6-7A at the given voltage, yet it pulls 10-12A at 39-40V when accelerating, showing 450-480W.
Also the 36V battery pack has a full load voltage of 42V, shuts off around 37-38V. None of these values match the '36V' label, but are way below what to expect for a real 48V system, right?

I'd guess that there are 10 Li packs in series (10x 4.2V) in the battery canister. Is this typical for 36V battery packs?
Has anyone ever measured their 36V or 48V bikes as to the TRUE readings of battery voltage, amperes and wattages flowing at full speed?

At $450 this Samebike JG20 was a steal, has weird quirks and behavior, turns into a real 'project' bike to tinker with.
    So much to learn..
Any advice is highly appreciated, thanks!

Hello after some more testings i must say the Bike ist locked even its the controller or somewhat else...after unlocking the settings in the display the bike goes to 33.7 km/h but if i drive with the bike i cant get the speed...27.7 km/h ist the fastest i can get...so its 5 km/h under the high speed without someone driving...and only If the battery ist fully charged...so how can i get over the 33.7 km/h? The bike has the power to go over 35km/h. So to reach this speed i must go over 40km/h...my question is how? Can i unlock the controller? Cable changing? Some secret settings? Buy a new controller? A software to programm the controller with new settings? Its weird that some bikes can be unlocked and others dont. Thx for helping

I've got my first ebike from Banggood, a fiido d2. Closing the frame, when the pins make contact, there was a spark.
So I figured out to disassemble the battery and the controller cover, finding out the polarity was inverted!
Rotated 90 degrees the controller cover, the bike made no sparkles and the motor goes.
Is there a possibility of a damage on the motor or the controller? Tomorrow I will try the bike on the road...

What is the difference of the Chinese model Fiido D1 and the European version? Is removing the speed limiter the same? I have the EU version

Is there the possibility of mounting a second battery on a Fiido D1?

    Hello everyone,

Reading this thread I see there are some very knowledgeable individuals around about controllers and LCDs particularly about the Samebike LO26.

I have just got it and testing it I found out that speed and odometer do not function. I checked the parameters which seem to be standard as listed here and elsewhere.

Anyone have any clue what the cause of this might be?

    Thanks in advance.

Markos thanks for your response. I have been in contact with the seller but I don't know where the defect might be. When you say meter do you mean the LCD, the controller or both?
What about the speed sensor itself, do you have any idea where is it located? Thanks again.
