Installing free games through a PS3 backup Guide

1. Format your PS3 (optional but makes process few times quicker)
2. Create a backup using PS3 Backup Utility to a USB drive.
Settings > System Settings > Backup Utility
3. Copy Backup folder to your PC
4. Download

5. Download a PS3 game you want from

6. Copy PS3_GAME folder to the CFW2OFW Helper v6 folder and run CFW2OFW Helper.exe
This downloads all updates and extras from Playstation servers.



7. Helper will output game and update folders, copy both to the game folder inside TrueAncestor_BACKUP_Retailer_v2.20



8. Copy PS3 backup folder to the backup folder inside TrueAncestor_BACKUP_Retailer_v2.20
9. Run retailer.exe
type 1 and enter to select the backup.
type 4 and enter to select the game folder
type S and enter, type OK to inject game folder to the backup.





10. Copy the new backup from the output folder to an external drive.


11. Connect the drive to your PS3 and Restore using the PS3 Backup Utility.


12. Enjoy the game!

Notes
Formating console before using this guide will make whole process few times faster.
Multiple games (game folders) can be injected at once.
The whole game will be stored on the console, one PS3 game can take 30-50GB alone!
